This made me smile and tear up a bit. I went to school with the Big Bopper’s son, Jay. He was a year behind me in school, and was the sweetest guy. He never knew his Dad in this world because he was born after the plane crash. In his later years he made a living impersonating the father he never met. He died a few years ago from heart problems. I feel certain he knows his Dad now ❤️ Thanks for sharing this, and I’m so glad you are enjoying your travel!
