My wife and I just planned our first log trip next year starting late August to try to miss most of the summer crowds. We plan to head west and hit Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, Deadwood, Sturgis, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Bandlands, Teddy Roosevelt National Park and a few other places along the way.

After seeing your posts.... I wish we were leaving this August!

Thanks Judge! There is so much to see and do! Went to Rushmore yesterday and it was impressive! Got a nice shot coming out of the tunnel. And also saw some really huge Bison Bulls yesterday.
