The 2” self drilling screws , which has a taper head was NOT countersunk into the plastic . Because it wasn’t , when the screw was installed , the taper acted as a wedge ..
Holes into plastic, creates “ stress risers” small microscopic cracks which can create stress points.. exactly what has happened here.
Every problem I have found on my unit has been elementary assembly shortcuts or a poor choice of materials .
