This summer we spent 2 weeks on the road starting from the New Orleans area and went to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, and Las Vegas and returned home. We also made some stops along the way and on the way back. We did not tow our CRV for this trip. Loaded with 4 kids, a dog and 2 adults. My coach was weighed in right at 20K# full of fuel and 1/4 tank fresh for travel water. I averaged anywhere from 5.5 - 7.2 mpg on this trip. When I got into Texas/Louisiana humid heat, I used the Genny to power the roof A/Cs for comfort. I usually drive 5mph less that posted speed limit.

I will say that I was worried once I got into the Mountains, my V10 would struggle up the 8% grades, but It handled it with no issues... in 3rd gear holding 50mph no issues. Probably why I was getting 5.5mpg on those tanks of fuel.
