My pump was 79 bucks on amazon.
There is no need to remove a lugged pump unless you want to.
Mine is lugged and stays perpetually mounted.

I also have power tank valves and the macerator pump and dump switches are in a remote location so I never have to duck under the slide to access our wet bay.
We don't use the slide, hardly ever, and we only dump just before leaving our park space, but it's an easy thing to add the valves and move the switch, so I did. A second set of switches could be installed inside the rv so you don't even have to go outside.

If you buy lug Mounted pumps and leave them attached, you leave yourself with a backup system in case a pump fails. We carry a slinky as back-up, could quarter turn the bad pump to remove it, install the slinky, and not really even be slowed down much by the process.

The pump I have is currently unavailable on amazon.
Just pick a pump with good reviews and spend the 2x80 bucks.

Power wise, my pump is wired with a fuse jumper to a 30 amp always hot fuse in the main fuse box.
Easy.
Fuse jumper with its own fuse, run some(in my case) 8 Guage speaker wire(I wanted to keep the ground on a buss bar. You needn't) A switch in the style you choose, and you're done.
There's a second in-line switch which blocks the wet bay door from closing if the switch is in the 'on' position so I can't drive away with the system/pump activated.

Somewhere in my signature thread are pictures of the switch plate and the fuse jump.
