First of all, I need to correct my previous post. I used pressure treated plywood, not Marine plywood. It’s been my experience that termites normally avoid pressure treated wood.
Secondly, Where I park my MH is on an easement that has a huge drainage culvert buried underneath. It’s within my property line but I can’t have anything permanent there in case they have to dig below or access the overhead power lines.
It’s about 30ft from the house and so far, termite guy hasn’t found anything around the house for the past two years.
So, yes using wood is not the recommended method, but in my case, it the best, plus, it’s easier aiming to park on a 4’x4’ surface than a 2’x2’ block of concrete
