I had fabulous luck with mine. I carefully masked off the decal and gave the quickest wipe with lacquer thinner on a HD Shop Towel paper towel, then painted with Hammertone paint. The trailer was subject to thousands of miles on the road, pressure washer baths and 3 years in the hot AZ sun by Phoenix before I sold it. The painted decals looked great to the very end...
I will try to attach some photos here... The last photo was 3 years later as Camping World hot-shot was dragging it into the sunset...
