I am not sure about that question. If possible, I would use the same mounting setup since it is already in place. Less work and expense. It would also depend on the tv you are using to see if it requires a different mount. The reason why I had to remove my tv on the last trip was that a bolt fell out from behind it onto the little shelf. I recovered it and found that it was one of four that hold it onto the mounting bracket. Two of the three left on were very loose so I tightened them all up.
