You know in some parts of the country some houses don't even have AC Some folks can get by with 1 AC and 30amp service wth no complaining to add a 2nd AC is there proof. But 2 ACs is absolute must for us in Texas during the summer. But I have 2 dog bones 24/7 as I may only have 20 or 30 amp service available. I also alternate the front & back AC's when I only need one. They are both ducted so if I am in the front, therear AC is on, or vice versa if I need one when sleeping.
