Actually just north of Del Mar on the coast is
San Elijo State Beach
Eastern Sierra Nevada Range (Hwy 395, south of Reno)
Silver Lake Resort for those that like to fish. Their restaurant should have a hospital cardio unit next door because breakfast is that good. Seasonal - closed during winter.
