Watching campers use the same hose for potable as black tank flush is always interesting
However if you're going to throw the potable hose on top of or in the same container as the slinky it doesn't matter
Draining your potable hose, disinfecting the connections (first couple of feet of hose also) and hose bib, minimize sun contact with extra hose tucked under the RV , storing separate in a clean container or bag, as noted flushing prior to connecting
Lots of simple things to preserve your water supply and the next camper
Same applies for any external filters or water treatment equipment
