I'm starting to learn some of the lingo these manufacturers use. "Satelite pre-wiring" might mean just a piece of coax inside the roof with nothing attached to either end. But, if it is up there, I guess it is better than nothing. I didn't see anything on the roof that looked like a microwave antenna the last time I was up there. I'll look harder next time.
My satellite receiver is an old Sirius radio with a lifetime unlimited subscription. I'm pretty sure that an XM antenna won't work on Sirius and vice-verse. Unless the antenna is specific to Sirius, I wouldn't be able to use it anyway.
