Thank you all for your experiences and advice. We did end up going to Walmart and getting the FLAs for now. It was all our rural store had to offer. Since this is all new to us and our first foray into this, be figured we'd start here and see how long the batteries last for what we end up doing (hopefully a fair amount of boondocking in or near National Parks).

The AGMs sound intriguing and something to research more for the future. We do have a solar panel on top, so have to do more learning/looking into how all those system components interact. Hubby is retiring soon so hopefully there will be more time for that.

The space under the steps on our Axis is pretty limited. Two type 27s fit, with not much room to spare, so we have to work with that as well.
