I have never before agreed with the:
'If the dealer had included the $4,000 TV no one would complain'
posts.
But
The not quite right wifi thing they now build in to Thor's had to be a marketing agreement at little cost to thor.
I think the shower head maker would be abject fools if they didn't supply those heads for free to thor.
If Thor builds 10,000 units a year (I haven't the slightest clue) and you take the shipping and packaging out of the cost of the shower heads....
The $5 or so net cost of the actual product becomes the best $50,000 the shower head company ever spent.
Write-off, customer for life, Thor people bragging of the fancy shower head...shoppers on lots comparing the neat 'thor exclusive' shower head against the shower head Ina $100,000 higher priced builder....
Saless volumes up for the shower guys, stock yearly's reflect this, prototype money comes rolling in, new product developed.
Both Thor and the shower head company just aren't thinking clearly on this collaboration.
