I thought that this was a premature death, I hope this was not the norm for this control circuit. However, as I was troubleshooting the circuit, I asked myself ‘why would a manufacturer, THOR in this case, place a delicate electric component in a compartment that is subject to temperature change, potential obstruction by objects?’ (this circuit board is mounted in the outside bay which I believe is called the mud room).
My recommendation to those that have a similar install configuration, you might consider either relocating to a controlled environment or getting a nema enclosure (PVC with gasket) and grommets for the cable size and remount your Lippert control board.

My big slide controller is located in the basement compartment beside the generator where I store the water softener bottle and the propane grill, wheel chocks and 6 ton hydraulic jack. It has spent a week Christmas camping at Grandfather Campground, NC, 6 inches of snow and a low of 13 degrees. Spent 9 days in Wilmington, NC and experienced 8 inches of rain in three days near Wilmington, NC and we often experience 100+ degree temperatures for three summers we have lived in San Antonio. The controller is in the upper rear corner of the compartment, so I have to be careful what I put in the pass through. Your results may vary.
