License for moped.

dstankov is correct. In Wyoming, any 2 wheel motorized vehicle with a seat requires a license, tags and insurance. The only exception is a "TRUE" MOPED, which have pedals, go less than 30mph, are less than 50cc and less than 2hp. We sold motor scooters for 6 years, until we switched to Electric Powered Bicycles. We not only sell them but use them all the time with our camper. They are easy to load/unload, maintain, ride and no license needed. Almost all E-Bikes will go 20mph @ a range of 25-45 miles per charge. Admittedly, if you need to go longer distances at higher speeds, scooters are better. For those times, a rental vehicle works great. If you go the E-Bike route, stay away from the cheaper Chinese built bikes. If it isn't at least $1500 and up, walk away. Our best bikes are Spanish, Swiss & German Built with a California & Florida company comparable in many ways. Not trying to make a sales pitch but trying to give some lighter weight, less maintenance options. Good luck, Garry & Tara.
