On my 30FE, the platform under the mattress is split down the middle. The left side (
as you are standing at the foot of the bed) lifts and gives access to one of the storage bays. The right side lifts and exposes the water tank, water pump, and a rats nest of wiring and plumbing. You may have to remove a few screws to lift that section. The drain valve is close to the bottom of the tank on a short piece of tubing.
