Battery Maintenance Charger

2018 Windsport 29M (Ford V10)
For winter storage of the RV (live in the northeast), I remove the coach batteries, leave the chassis battery in place, put the RV into heated storage and connect a Battery Minder Charger to the chassis battery. This spring the battery minder was tripped off and the battery needed to be jumped. As I prepare for this fall I spoke to the battery minder engineer. He said the unit I have is plenty for that application provided there isn’t a draw on the chassis battery greater than the amp limit on the battery minder (1.5A) while in storage. With the coach batteries pulled I wouldn’t expect there to be much if any amp draw on the chassis battery while in storage. Does anyone have any experience with using battery minder in a similar application or a similar issue with storage of their RV. Any advice is appreciated. The water level in the battery was fine and am confident the battery minder was not unplugged during the winter.
Thanks.
