they are most certainly a part of a GFCI circuit, since they are in the 'kitchen' near the sink, etc... where the 'master' GFCI outlet is, generally found in the bathroom, can take some searching. It could also be in the outside compartment if an outlet is found there. The breaker probably won't have anything to do with it since it has 'power', it's just that the GFCI has 'tripped'. If you find it and it won't 'reset', then yes, you could have a loose wire in the outlet, or at the breaker.

the microwave is on it's own circuit... and not a GFCI one.
