First of all, I have a Trimark 650 in an older coach. The striker plate on the coach is usually not adjustable unless you oval the locating holes. The latch is somewhat movable if the Philips screws are loosened (3 on the inside and two on the door's edge). In some cases you may need to shim the guide pin(s). First you need to look for wear points on the striker plate and then move the entire latch up or down to eliminate the friction. You may need to enlarge the opening in the door.
If the is no rubbing on the alignment pin(s), then check the spring tension on the latch. It should move in easily with the index finger if not the spring can he heated to reduce the force or the spring can be cut. Those of us with the Trimark 650 get very familiar with the enter workings of the entry door latch.
