In previous iterations, Daimler AG did not allow automatic interconnections of the chassis and house batteries. The charger will charge the house batteries (shore power or generator) and the chassis battery is charged by the engines alternator. Several people installed a battery tender on the chassis battery to keep everything charged when in storage. The above is my remembrances only and are not to be construed as fact on your coach.
