The rear bumper on my previous rig destroyed a brand new "slinky". Seems the manufacturer (Coachmen) attached a shiny aluminum cover on the bumper using screws that were so long that they allowed me to put the hose
into the bumper, but when I tried to
extract it, two of the screws penetrated the hose and ripped it wide open as I pulled.
I replaced those screws with short pop rivets, but never used that bumper again. And on the new rig, the bumper is only used for a collapsible step ladder.
