What satellite service do you have (Direct or Dish), the cover can be removed on the Winegard dome antenna on the roof and there is a row of dip switches that need to be set for the service you have (unless you know it was already set correctly to match Direct or Dish when you bought it and that is the service you plan to use).
There are specific satellite boxes which must be used with dome style antennas (for example Walley for Dish) and the cabling from the roof dome antenna may vary also, depending on if you want to have a dvr type capability (for example 2 coax cables from Winegard dome to Direct TV HR24 DVR).
After you have the correct box, the correct coax and the correct antenna settings, and the correct HDMI input selected on your TV, then you will be able to go through all of the on-screen satelite tv setups on your tv.
