14 Hurricane 34E slide window repair

Anyone have this issue and how did you repair?
The window handle on top of the window keeps coming off during opening. I have put back on multiple times but need to try something else. These were the best pics I could get but I think easy to understand if you have the same small windows on ur RV. The window is approximately 9 x 15 inches. Thanks Dennis.
