It is mainly for outgoing calls. It screens & speaks incoming call. All Robo calls never even ring they are silently stopped. We use Intercom all the time. Some folks text to each other in the same house while we call each other from the various rooms. It gets tricky because I may be ringing the wrong room
But it beats putting my beer down and getting up off the sofa
