The Sprinter also gets between 17 and 18MPG of diesel, so it would stand to reason that it would use less DEF, too. I didn't really track ours, but when the gauge approached 1/2 I filled the DEF tank. I will say, I did not have to do that very often. The Sprinter is one of the more efficient vehicles that motorhomes are built onto.
