It has to be closer than you think.
How long is the TC cord from back of TV to the wall? Can you pull it out a little? If so measure the total distance. I will assume 3 ft. That TV cord is likely 4 - 6 ft long so the receptacle has to be 1 to 3 ft behind the wall.
Another option is to take picture of side to show TV on the outside and then go take picture on inside that is directly behind the TV.
