But under is a truck chassis.

After a few weeks decided that it was a keeper.

Changed engine and gen oil to Mobile 1
Changed dif oil
Changed coolant
Changed Tran fluid
Bled brakes
Changed hoses and belts
Changed 2 2013 tires.

Put on 3,000 worry and anxiety free miles with a minimum 5 year ownership horizon

Brakes and steering components were great on transfer.

Hope you enjoy yours as much

The 30Q was probably the last Class A Thor built without a slide, which I really liked a lot. And the later model years had a great bike-size compartment in rear which we needed. We looked at a couple of lightly used ones built on the Ford F-53 chassis, but as much as we liked pretty much everything about it, it was just too large for the kind of traveling we do.

I think that as motorhomes get older, those without slides should hold up better and make longer-term ownership much more economical. Anyway, good luck with your 30Q and I hope you get many great years out of it.
