Interesting idea of checking on the watts per the coffee maker. We travel with a Cuisinart which is the old one from the house. Never checked the watts but will next trip just to see. It has the adjustable warmer so you can reduce that or turn it off after brewing.
Typically we overnight in areas where generator time in the morning is typically 7 am but I like my Bob sized cup early in the AM so it is nice to have battery left
