The replacement ring from amazon fit just fine after greasing it up and nearly busting a gut forcing onto the collar. Got it done though. Completely disagree with those saying not having the threaded ring in no big deal.. The twist lock part of the plug doesn’t twist much. The weight of the cord pulls down significantly on the socket in my opinion. The locking ring quickly and cheaply eliminates any play or flexing here.
