My 2015 is off warranty so I replaced the shifter cable myself yesterday with minimal knuckle damage. Took about an hour. Cable was $50 directly from Ford. My cable had fallen out of the clip that’s attached on top of the frame. You can feel for this clip while laying on your back under the MH. I made sure the new cable was snapped into this clip but also used large heavy duty zip tie to ensure cable can’t flop onto the exhaust manifold again.
