My spare fits perfectly in the rear most drivers side bin. With just enough wiggle room to spare. It wasn't my discovery, a member here told of his spare fitting there. I'd have never tried it without reading it on this forum.

I have a hitch mount spare carrier, tire cover and anti-rattle chingadera for the spare but I prefer to carry it in the bin.

I converted the under body between the frame space to an extra bin accessed by way of the rear end hatch. Pics on on the last page or second to last page in my signature thread. Post 443
