We traveled in our class C and class A RVs for several years without a toad. Renting worked occasionally but more often than not we just didn’t do the things we would have if we’d had a car with us. Eventually we decided to just go ahead and tow. When it was time to replace our second car we bought an old Wrangler and set it up to tow. Cost was high at about $2500 but it was a one time expense. We take the Jeep on some trips and not on others. I’m glad we have the option.
