Arrow Hydraulic hoses

Check your hydraulic hoses a couple times a year. Just squeeze the hose close to the fittings and a foot from the fittings to make sure that the hose is firm. My door side orange hose was really bad. It felt spongey because there was fluid under the casing of the line. The other hose seemed to be starting to go bad. So I decided to replace both of them. What a difference in the quality of the hoses I had made. The old orange one felt like a garden hose. The lines on our rig is 1/4 ID and has a 3000psi rating. They made the new ones with a 10,000 psi rating plus much higher quality fittings. I had them made at a NAPA store.
Always best to replace them before they fail and cause a problem and a big mess. The change out is straight forward and not complicated.
