So my Challenger 37TB is headed to Thor for its last warranty checkup. One of the items to be done was the the step fix. Notice I said WAS. We are currently in Key West dry camping for a couple of months. So we are a long ways from Thor authorized service providers. As I was dumping our tanks, BINGO - BANGO - BONGO - steps broke. Looked underneath the steps and saw the gear mechanism hanging down and went yep - broken.

Here is pic of the steps without the recall!!! The bolt holding the gear in place shears off. Good news, I'd read the forums about the problem and had bungees at hand to hold them in place.

Also, the Thor folks are taking care of the step replacement with very little hassle for me. Thanks Tom Overton.
