Hi Roadrunner

Your mileage may be about right since you have the turbo diesel. I have heard good things about the Ford Chassis/engine. My coach is built on a Mercedes Benz Chassis and as long as I keep it 65 I can increase the mileage a bit. I seldom drive 65 so my mileage suffers. When we travel, I only fill my fresh water 1/3 to 1/2 since we usually stay at night at full set up campsites with water. We use the onboard water for the toilet while on the road. No need to carry too much weight in the fresh water tank on the road. We are set up to go from Southern Calif. to Riverton Utah just after Christmas to visit some friends for a week. We stay the first night at the Casa Blanca Casino R V Resort. Nice place to stay and it only runs $33.00 per night with full hook ups. I did change out the factory bump stops and installed Sumo Springs which reduced the side to side sway while on the road(passing trucks, in/out of driveways...). Easy install.
