We found the original mattresses to be very uncomfortable (they went to the curb for the landfill). My DW found that the Coleman River Gorge Air Mattress, about $70 will fit perfectly in the 24.1. Being battery operated (4 D-Cells) you can control the firmness as needed, and they are comfortable.
Please Note:Being of Chinese origin (no quality control) we purchased the extended warranty for an additional $8. This has proven to be worthwhile as we have exchanged them for new ones, when they develop leaks.
