I’d try temporarily bypassing the switch with jumper wires directly from the lights to the battery. If the lights work I’d try connecting the jumpers to the factory wires at the switch. That’ll help you determine if the problem is at the switch or wiring. Look for pinched or cut wires in the awning mechanism. Good luck.
