Hi Coveman2, I replaced my bed struts with 2 Strong Arm 4989...see picture. Working well. Before replacement the existing struts were working against lifting the bed:-)
I will make a note of the door strut-- so far mine is working fine but regularly comes detached from one side or the other. I can't seem to snug up both ends as tightening one side seems to loosen the other! Nancy
