Roku is our dear friend. Our rv came with firestick and the apple equivelant, we prefer roku.
I think the basic roku stick and the firestick are $15 today on amazon.
It makes a TV smart right now.
I wouldn't buy a smart TV ever again on purpose.
And
Casting was a pain for us. Lag and such.
A USB c to hdmi cable was about $6.
We now download movies to our phone at home for when we're travelling and instead of a cast and lag, we plug into the hdmi/c cable we left dangling from the TV.

If you have an old phone you're not using, dedicate to the rv for movies and Torque and iExit.
(I can't keep an old phone running long enough o accomplish this. I'll probably buy an android 10 burner phone.)
