It was left in the use position, I switched it to see if that would make a difference, and now the with does not seem to work. In the past there would be a loud clunk or click when switching and now there is nothing.
Just to be clear there was a sound when I switched it but then there was no sound. The converter seems to be operational, it is warm and the fan comes on briefly when turning the breaker on.
