We just purchased a used 2019 Thor Compass 24TF without an inverter and are planning a trip through the US and Canada next year. Has anyone tried to retrofit a class C RV to add an inverter? If so we would love to hear details. Potential issues that come to mind include finding space for one (not sure how large they are), methods of wiring to the existing system, how to get the new system to know when to provide AC from the inverter when the generator and shore power are off, etc.

Happy Holidays to all!!!
I have my old Xantrex Pro 1000 for sale. It has a remote display and 15 amp pass through circuit to power what you want when on shore power or generator power. It comes with 10 ft battery leads (4 awg). $150.00 including shipping. PM for more info.
