I replaced the stock Ford OEM steering damper on my E450 chassis with a Bilstein damper.
It made a difference for me, far less wheel play (right/left)
Paid about $90 on Amazon, easy DIY install (plug & play)

It's been increased to $114 on Amazon
But check around to see if it's cheaper elsewhere...
