Transmission line fitting crack

Hey guys,
I discovered a hairline crack in one of the fittings on the transmission cooler lines on our Challenger. It actually looks like a manufacturer defect more than a stress crack. Drips very slow, maybe 2 or 3 drops per minute. I ordered a new line from the local Ford dealer, backordered with no definite ship date.

I'm thinking because it's such a small leak and the fitting is clean that I'm going to try JB Weld to fix it .

Any thoughts? Thanks.
