The hitch rating of 8000 pounds is not your towing capacity. That is only the weight the hitch can handle.

Very few class A gas motorhomes can tow an empty F150 yet alone one loaded down with kayaks etc... The smaller diesel pushers can't even handle that with if they have the 340 HP Cummins and Allison 2000 series transmission.

Might want to reconsider the plans.
The popular jeep wrangler unlimited is heavier than the f150 so how are all these gas mh's I see able to do it? It appears to me as long as you don't go crazy with what you carry in pickup you should be ok.
