Pull out that battery.
Invest in slightly longer cables.
Move the battery to the bin just in front of the door.
Its a pretty easy mod to do.
It will never be a fight again.
(If you weld, it will also fit just behind/below the passenger headlight or at the rear of the passenger fenderwell)

I was going to do my own oil changes but the savings was less than $500 over the next ten years.
Or
It would be really easy to put a door in that dash nook over the radio. Oil fill would be then be fast and easy.
Or
My phone camera is working again.
I'll get the pictures I owe you of the door and I'll get pics my cure for the oil fill problem.
