Ah...I just noticed that you have a Dometic heater. Those are harder to replace the element on because it’s on the inside where access is undoubtedly poor. The recommended priced is to remove the whole unit! But the good news is that on this style of heater the element is below the drain level so you maybe still had enough water inside to keep the element under water. So maybe you’ll be ok. Hope so.
