My outside TV went in about 2-1/2 yrs in our 30.2. As protected as you think it is when I opened mine after I took it out it was all corroded inside the control board was in bad shape.
No need to splice the cord on the outside TV in 30.2. Once you know where the plug is it’s a fairly easy swap.
