Don’t know about RVwifes but our rack is probably 45 or 50 pounds. I have to use an extension in the receiver on my rig which cuts the rating in half (to 300 lbs in our case). We’re probably pretty close to that when the mopeds are all gassed up but we’ve gone many, many miles without any problems. If we need to tow the Jeep we leave the bikes at home although we probably could put the carrier on the Jeep and bring everything.
