Checklist are nice but a few clothespins with red streamers on the critical items help just as the red "remove before flight" streamers on the pins. It is easy to loose track of the checklist when a neighbor drops by for a chat while you are packing up to leave or packing up in a driving rain.
Spent my time at Kirtland in AFSC-SWTC. In fact, I got married 57 years ago in chapel #2.
